NAME: Christopher Alexander Francis Scott
PSUEDO: Scott
DOB/AGE: 02-10-1983/31
OPINION OF THE RIVALRY: Honestly, he doesn't care. Don't be dicks. He thinks everyone should stop being dicks and he definitely thinks that given the shit that's going down lately, something's rotten in the state of Denmark, and while he doesn't really have the ability to fix it, it's getting to the point that he's going to ask around if he can do anything, because people who aren't involved are getting hurt, and that's bullshit.
OCCUPATION: Odd Jobs
LOCATION: Siren Cove, ME
HOMETOWN: Siren Cove, ME
FAMILY: William Scott (Father)
Ruth Scott (Mother)
Aimee Scott (Sister)
Avery Markson (Son, Age 6)
Lifestyle: He's got a shitton (for him) of money left over from when he was in enlisted. The only thing he'd really spent it on was booze and gifts for his family come Christmastime, so he's pretty much set up right now. (To the other people in town, he's nowhere near rich; he's got about 250k in the bank.)

Chris does a lot of physically demanding activities. He runs marathons, goes rock climbing, hunts, etc. He's considering a job in private security, but he's honestly still in a bit of a 'what the hell do I do with myself' tailspin after the army. He also hangs out a lot in bars, and tries to find good people to hang out with. 13 years in the Army's also made him a bit of an adrenaline junkie, which is something he's having a bit of issue filling in Siren Cove.

He lives on an apartment that takes the whole second floor of a building that he rents. It wildly swings from being spotless to being an absolute pigstye, depending on the day - but he's got a lot of gym equipment - and as he likes to point out, a big bed.
PERSONALITY: When you crack Christopher Scott open, you see his warm, gooey center. He has one. He cares about people; he likes babies, plays with dogs, gives little girls flowers. He helps old ladies cross the street. He tries to do what is 'right', given a particular definition of right. Defend the weak, do the right thing. He takes his Ranger oath seriously, even if he's not in the military any longer. He understands, too, that sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omlette, but he tries to minimize casualties if he can.

Problem though... the outside? Not gooey. Not warm. It's spikier than a porcupine, and he's unforgiving with both himself, and anyone else who's a dick. You're an asshole? You aren't special, and he's not going to let you get away with it just because of social niceties. Chris is a sarcastic ass who doesn't give a shit if he makes people uncomfortable. He knows what he's set out to do, and he does it; if you get in the way and your concerns are unfounded? Well then, you're in the fucking way. He's crude, he can be exceptionally rude, and he hits on anything that moves. Male, female, doesn't particularly matter; he has no issue taking no for an answer, but you can be sure as shit that he's going to ask.

He tends to make friends and enemies easily; he's incredibly social, and is both the first person to buy a drink for a stranger or throw a punch in a bar fight, depending on how much of an asshole they seem to be.

HISTORY:
Chris Scott was raised by a good, upstanding family just outside of Siren Cove. His life was fairly routine; he played football, got a scholarship - however he flunked out after 2 semesters due to the stress that his unrestricted, uncontrolled dreamwalking caused, and decided instead joined the US Army in an effort to tire himself out (the only thing he has found that works to control said powers.) In the Army, he attended the Ranger School and was assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment, 5th Battalion.

He had been deployed across the world, spending a large portion of his time in the Middle East. While he knew about his powers, they'd never really been a problem until eight months ago. His squad was on a covert operation in Bahrain when one of his squadmembers was shot. Knowing that there was no help available, Chris decided to use his powers to save him, even though it both exposed what he could do and the injury was bad enough that healing it put Chris in a coma for five weeks.

He woke up in a hospital in Germany with an honorable discharge. No one in his squad would explain what happened to command, but that meant that Chris came back home because he didn't know where else to go. His parents still live in their cottage outside of Siren Cove, but Chris is looking for a job that will tire him out. He worked with a logging company in northern Maine over the summer, but with winter coming he's got to find something else to do - or, alternatively, to get his powers under control (which he's not particularly looking forward to.)

He has a son, Avery, who is nearly six years old - the product of a one-night stand while he was on leave. Avery lives in Georgia with his mother, Sarah. He barely sees him (at the request of Avery' mother.) As he's an sarcastic ass who also flirts with anything on two legs, he's likely had a lot of contact with the others who've grown up in Siren Cove - that being said, he's not had any long-term relationships, because few people can stand him that long (if you ask him.)
Status: He's a witch. He has three powers, although he only knows about two. What he knows about:

Healing Ability: Chris can heal almost any wound up nearly to the point of death, however at a minimum he will suffer three times the cumulative pain the injury has caused; if in cases of amputation or worse, healing it could put him in a coma or even in a state of shock and it potentially could kill him. He cannot heal himself.

Dreamwalking: Chris walks into other people's dreams, if he would have dreamed himself. He can't control it, can't pull himself out of it, and anyone within about a half-mile radius is fair game. He can move from one dream to another (if the dreamer wakes without him waking, for instance), can be seen in the dreams he accidentally visits - and while he can manipulate what happens in the dreams, he's learns it's generally not the best of ideas since messing around in other people's subconciouses can make them Pretty Unhappy.

The last that he doesn't know about - Chris has the ability to project himself to people who are awake, when he's in a trance/half asleep/in a coma. It's not something he'd ever find out about unless he actually gains control of his dreamwalking or is in a coma again; I don't know if he will.
